Strike 2 for Jeremiah in the SAME MONTH

The following post is simply for the fact of having it for JOURNAL purposes. The last week has been one that I wouldn't mind forgetting and yet, we have started getting some things in order finally that should have been there for years. Last Monday Jeremiah went to work as though everything was in perfect working order. After working most of the day, his contract boss Jim Dawson came to Jer and demanded he hand over his work badges and leave the premises immediately. According to Jim there were several individuals that had submitted written complaints against Jeremiah claiming he had done some inappropriate things toward a former co-worker over a year ago. Jim informed Jeremiah that he was suspended indefinitely until "corporate" decided how to address the claims. (We think it was just Jim's way of getting himself more time to decided what to do.) That day when Jer came home and told me what had happened I was rather upset. After going to work and then coming home and getting the kids all fed, showered, and into bed I took off for the evening to have some SHARCY time to think things over and really decide how I needed to talk to him about the accusations. We spent the week doing normal day to day activities with the kids' school and Halloween Parties as well as caring for them each as they got super sick. It was a pretty crappy week... except for the ONE POSITIVE outcome- after 2 years of waiting I finally started to replace the faucet in the bathtub only to find that it was so so SO corroded that Jer and my dad had to use ACID to eat through it and get the final parts off so they could replace the broken parts and get it working PROPERLY for the first time since we moved here, 2 years ago. SO back to the job... Jeremiah called all his bosses to find out what was going on with the job situation and finally had Jim call him back. Jim told him to meet him at the South Gate to get his badges back and that he could start back to work tomorrow. When Jer picked up his badges Jim told him that the "high school behaviors" for everyone needs to stop and Jer agreed with him. Jeremiah may get to start back to work, but if his former co-workers file even just one more complaint involving him/his name then Jim told Jer that he would get FIRED. My own personal opinion is that Jim doesn't even care what he gets told he believes them. He doesn't listen the the rebuttal of the accused. He doesn't have any form of mediation to sit down with those involved and really get to the bottom of the truth. I don't know how a boss/manager could be so naive and believe everything from certain people and NOT BE WILLING to even hear the other side of the story. I sure do hope that the workers with issues toward Jeremiah can grow up and stop filing false accusations against him. This work situation doesn't just affect him, it directly affects me, my children and the potential for their future. GROW UP already.
