Jeremiah took the day off for our trip to Las Vegas for the weekend, but the boys had activities at school they needed to attend so we spent the morning rounding up our final little things for the drive. We decided to take the kids out of class about 1:30 and get on the road. We had originally planned for Jer to be working so we reserved a room in Mesquite for the night. The kids were great for the drive. We got off in St. George to eat because there isn't too many options when you get into Mesquite. We had a comfortable meal at Denny's, where everyone knows there is something they want to eat. I drove on to Mesquite and we checked into the Virgin River Hotel for our "sleep over". I used this night to get the boys' homework finished so I wouldn't have to worry about it for the rest of the weekend. Sleep came easily for everyone that night.

Since we had gained an hour by crossing over into Nevada, we woke up at an earlier time than expected, 6AM. We left and headed out for Vegas by 7. We got to Syrie and Bryce's house in time for the kids to play with Stryder for a little. When Bryce got home from class they finished packing up and headed off for Utah... the kids were sad.
That is when I got the kids bathed and ready for the day as well as got myself showered and all cleaned up to head out to....
When we were there in October we found a souvenir shop where they sell CHEAP Tshirts and I decided at that time we'd get them this time and get a picture of all of us in them. After purchasing the shirts we walked on up the strip for a little while to see some of the hotels and the attractions.
After seeing this portion of the strip we drove South to this iconic sign.....
...for the pictures I wanted...
... everyone was so wonderful to go along with Mommy's crazy need to get a family picture... THANKS LOVES
After getting our pictures we headed over to the football fields where Kotah's team was suppose to weigh in at 6.... 6 o'clock came and went, 7 o'clock came and went...The team was playing around in the dark (Under the lights actually)
I will never tire of watching Kotah (and really any of my kiddos) running around with their friends.
Well, we were at the park long enough that the parents organized and ordered Little Caesars Pizza so we weren't starving any more.
Kaiya and Kenai were really good at finding ways to play while we waited for the team to weigh in. By the time we left the field they were all so tired that they fell asleep in the car during the 23 minute drive to the apartment.
