Jeremiah's Birthday lands on Memorial Day weekend MOST years. This year as part of what he wanted to do we went to the Air Show up on Base.
We got there early enough that we got many things done before the rain moved in.

Haha... so as soon as we finished taking the picture above I turned and tripped on the kids falling into the small side bench seat thing and banged my ankle on the metal "running board" thing that is under the seat... great little memory there :)
When Jeremiah saw this bird he HAD to get a picture with it and the kids
The kids got hungry so Jer bought them each a hot dog... after realizing I was right about how much stuff costs there we left the show and headed to Applebee's for our actual lunch.
After getting out of most of the rain we headed back to catch the rest of what was going on.
IN the end, in spite of all the bad weather, we had a good family outing... and I have to admit the planes were SO MUCH COOLER to see up close and hear/feel them fly by you so fast.
