This was such a relaxing day for us.
We walked through shops making sure we had everything we wanted.
We went to Ululani's AGAIN (2 times)
We cleaned up our condo.
We walked the beach and ate as much of our food we still had left.
We packed our bags and had everything ready for our departure/return home.
We enjoyed our last Ululani Shaved Ice and crossed the street to sit on this bench and enjoy the LAST of our Maui SUNSETS... I Love this picture Jeremiah took.
Thursday, February 18th
We slept in as late as we could without feeling too guilty for being so lazy our last day.
Having the condo clean and our bags all ready to leave made our morning feel long and relaxing.
We didn't spend much time here in this little condo, but it sure was nice to have a "home" to come back to each night after enjoying the island.
We took our LAST selfie at the condo, out on the balcony and then we headed down to the car. We drove back to the car rental place and caught the shuttle back over to the airport.
We got there PLENTY early, we wanted to be able to wander around in the shops and have a snack before boarding, but the plane was delayed coming in so we were at the airport longer than we would have like. We were nervous that we wouldn't make it into San Diego on time to catch our connecting flight.
We finally saw the plane arrive and the crew did an excellent job getting things ready to head back across the ocean.
We snapped this last picture in the airport prior to boarding and leaving Maui
(to most likely never return again)
This trip was a dream come true. Jeremiah worked tirelessly to provide this decade delayed Honeymoon for us and he really didn't want to leave and come back to work. He was, however, very happy to get back to our home and our kids. I too just could NOT wait to see them again. We were lucky enough to catch a tail wind and arrived in San Diego in time to off load the plane, use the bathroom and board the other plane for Salt Lake City. That same wind got us into SLC within an hour, it was a great to get home and kiss my babies while they slept. The next day we kept the kids home and we watched movies and cuddled all day.
