Jeremiah's 36th Birthday fell on a Saturday this year... and even better, it was a Saturday without any games. He was able to sleep all night Friday night and woke up ready for some family time.
We went to lunch at La Cantina in Layton. Jeremiah really wanted Mexican food and we all love their salsa bar that is included with your meal purchase. After we had all eaten our meals Jer asked if they did anything for birthdays... well, Jer, ask and ye shall receive... AWESOME HUGE SOMBRERO!!!
When we got home the kids and I sang Happy Birthday to him and he "unwrapped" his gifts from the kids, 2 $25 Xbox gift card things for him to upload to the game system and purchase whatever game(s) he wanted... EXACTLY what he wanted. Happy Birthday Jeremiah! We love you mucho!
Memorial Day visit to the Hooper Cemetery where my brother Nathan and Grandad Johnston are both buried. I am always shocked at how much bigger my kids look each year when we take this picture. Families are Eternal. We will get to see you again one day Nathan, but until then we will continue to come visit your resting spot here on earth.
