Lacrosse ROCKS!!!

When the boys started Lacrosse back at the beginning of March that was all they had going on... 2 weeks later Kenai's soccer started and a month after that (April 11th) Kotah's baseball... It has been a busy time since then.

Since Jeremiah is helping coach Kenai's team this year I have Kaiya to keep me company at ALL the different practices and games.
Kenai is on the K-2nd grade team, Storm.  They have done exceptionally well so far, especially considering this is the FIRST time Roy has had enough that age for an actual team and the face that this is the FIRST time ANY of the boys have been able to play on an organized lacrosse team.
Kenai (#83 with the RED helmet) gets to play everywhere.  The teams don't have a goalie, but they have a "Hector" that is a guard thing that is hung in the goal to block shots from going in all the time.
(above- he is in the white jersey on the far LEFT bent over fighting for the ball)  He likes playing Mid-Field because, as he said, "I get to be in the face-off and I get to be offense and defense."  He is happy and learning.  There are actually some kids that WILL NOT play in the games, they just take off their equipment when they decide they are done and they'll sit on the sidelines (or even leave the game).
Friday, May 1st our little guys were given the opportunity to play against the Bonneville Storm team during the half time of the High School's game. We lost, BUT our HS came from behind to beat the Lakers 13-12 in golden goal overtime.

Now, KOTAH... (white team above) HE. IS. AWESOME.  and NO, I am not just saying that because he is my kid.  He is playing center middie and runs his guts out every single game, whether they are winning or losing.  He has scored in every game (pretty sure it's been every game, maybe minus one)  Today alone he scored 2 in his first game and 4 in his second.  These boys are killing it considering 7/13 haven't ever played and all the rest, except 1, this is only their second.  Kotah has spectators talking about him at every game.  I just sit there and listen to all the wonderful comments and then at the end thank them for their kindness and let them know that he is my son.
