Purple Wildcats- take 2

The spring soccer season started back before we took off for California.  Kenai has been doing a good job (thanks to his coaches) of balancing between soccer practices/games and lacrosse practices/games.  He has only missed 1 FULL game and 2 halves from 2 other games.
He still likes soccer, BUT he has decided that he doesn't want to sign up and play next year (kinda sad, but okay with that).  He wants to be able to try baseball next spring so he made the decision to take a break, at least this upcoming year, from soccer.
His team, while they try hard, still isn't as skilled as most of the teams they play against, Kenai has scored a few goals and had a few assists, but as a whole they struggle, so I'm happy he wants to take a break and try something else.  If he decides next year that he wants to do soccer again, then I'll be right there supporting that decision as well.  Keep up the hard work, Buddy.

(UPDATE: Wednesday, June 10th)
After having a fun season and having a VERY RAINY May the soccer season finally came to an end on a cold/wet Saturday afternoon.  Many of the boys didn't want to be there after the half, but they toughed it out.
So long Purple Wildcats, we didn't have a winning season, but the boys had fun and in AYSO that is all that matters.
Kenai was so excited to get his medal (and of course he had to kiss it) haha
