AYSO.... Let's just say it was NOT as much fun for the boys as INDOOR was.
Kotah missed 1 or 2 games because of overlapping with Lacrosse. He still made it to half the practices and enjoyed playing but the team mates were highly LACKING in their skills and abilities.
These are pictures from the last game of the season. Kotah has on his Lacrosse shorts because he had just come from that game.
After Kotah's game, the boys were able to play in the next game due to the fact that other players didn't come to play. Kotah scored 3 or 4 goals and Kenai played the field as well as in the goal.
Here's a picture of Kenai in the goal (above: making a save; below: how he stood most of the rest of the time) haha.... He had more fun in this ONE game than he had in the previous 7 games with his actual team his age. Let's just say his actual team struggled keeping players ON the field and keeping parents OFF... HE HATED IT!
Above: may be the last picture I will ever take of my boys playing a sport TOGETHER (they are always going to be in different age brackets) and Kotah may not want to play soccer again after finding joy in Lacrosse..... NEXT FALL Kotah will be trying FOOTBALL for the first time.
and... here is our dear, sweet Kaiya. She was great going to all the different sporting activities for the boys. So long as she had something to eat, drink and play with she was perfectly content.
