Christmas BIKES...
YEAH we finally got to head outside for a few days this week. I had promised the boys that at least one of the days we'd go outside so they could practice/learn how to ride their new bikes. This picture depicts how well that went... Kenai is on the OLD tricycle we've had since Kotah was 3, Kotah is actually riding KENAI'S bike and Kotah's bike is sitting off to the side.
We were getting Kotah use to just being on his bike since we haven't gotten any training wheels (and are hoping he'll pick up on riding with out them), but he just wanted to practice first with the training wheels that were on Kenai's bike.
Kenai was really brave and got on his bike to coast down our slight decline of a driveway... well he turned the handle-bars too sharp and the bike went right over, he crashed really hard on his hand/elbow/head and when he got up he said, "Good thing I had my helmet on" and yes indeed it was. After that fall he wasn't ready to get back on his bike so he switched to the smaller Tricycle.
And then Kotah decided to show Kenai how it is that you're suppose to "coast"... by yelling the entire ride down as loud as you can (like on a roller coaster).
