6 Years Old!!!
September 12th was a fun day for all of us, but especially for Kenai, it was his BIRTHDAY
He wore a "badge" that said Birthday Boy on it. He got a BB gun, BBs, targets and an outfit.
Needless to say, the BB gun was the prized present.
At school he got a crown to wear and he handed out Fruit Roll-ups for his treat.
His birthday was on a Thursday and Kotah had soccer practice so we invited over my parents for Pizza dinner before Kotah and I had to leave. On Friday night we had my parents, brother (and his family) over for cake and ice cream.
Jason and Tenisha gave him a blue Mt. Dew, bag of jerky bites, Twix, and a Butterfinger... all excellent choices for Kenai.
We tried to Skype Syrie, Bryce and Stryder but it wasn't working so we just had them on the phone while we sang "Happy Birthday" and then Kenai talked to Syrie for a few minutes. He made sure to ask her if she had his present and if she'd be bringing it up with them when they come for Kotah's baptism on the 28th.
Happy Birthday Kenai, You are sure growing into an independent little guy who likes to think of crazy stuff and try them out. Your imagination is growing everyday and one day you will put that brain of yours to work for GREAT things. Love you so much!!!
