This year our family was all sorts of divided up for our Easter celebrations. Kotah's soccer games started for the spring on Saturday and his games are at 12 o'clock so it started when everyone was just getting lunch started. I am coaching his team and just like we left off in the fall our team was DOMINANT. The other team didn't have enough players so we divided up and played with them. Of all the goals scored there was only 1 scored by someone from the other team. Kotah scored several goals.
While Kotah and I were at the game, Jeremiah was working. Kenai and Kaiya went with my parents to my Grandma Johnston's. Kenai was very happy to dye most of the eggs provided for the egg hunt.
(on the left) Kaiya was sick- later that day we took her to the doctor and found out she has croup. Kaiya just sat with, clung to my dad the entire afternoon (even when I got there after the game). Stryder, Kenai, Tenisha, and Jovi all coloring the eggs.

There were 2 pinatas for the kids. One was smaller for the younger kids and the other was bigger for the older kids. Kenai was the last "young" kid to get a swing at theirs so he busted it wide open. He was so pleased with himself.
Kotah tried his hardest, but was not able to break the bigger one, he was the first one to try on it though so it wasn't beaten at all yet :)
Kotah with his "hat" from the top part of his pinata.
Jeremiah did get off in time to come eat, but by then Kaiya had gotten worse and worse so we just took off to the nearest doctor's office so that we could have her tested for RSV and Strep. We were happy when the tests came back negative, but she was diagnosed with Croup (which just means she had swelling around her voice box. The doctor gave us some steroids to give her for the next few days and even though she has been sleeping like crazy today she is breathing better and hacking less plus her fever has finally broken. We are hoping things will get back to normal around here this week. NO MORE BEING SICK PLEASE :)
