Kaiya's Baptism

March 30, 2019
What a crazy day this was.  We had planned for soccer at 9 for Kaiya followed by Kotah's lacrosse game at then BAPTISM then Kenai's lacrosse game.  We had to adjust the time 3 TIMES because they kept changing the boys games... only to have ALL the GAMES canceled for the week because of rain; however, it turned into a beautiful day.
We had the R.S. room reserved for the whole day because we didn't know when we'd get to hold the baptism at the beginning of March; however, the night before we were notified that the Spanish branch had a family baptism scheduled, in spite of NOT RESERVING any portion of the church for the day.  When we got there they were already setting up in the gym for the dinner after.  We had Kaiya's baptism without any problems. Here are all the pictures I got of those who came to support her.

OUR FAMILY
Kotah (13), Kenai (11), Kaiya (8), Jeremiah (38), Sharcy (35)
I was 32 weeks pregnant with Tatanka
Reagan (Kayzli's cousin), Kaiya, and Kayzli
Same girls with Becky and Devin Wilberg
Jovi (8), Nash (5), Kaiya, and Brooks (7)
Same above mentioned kids with Jason Bennington (my brother)
Cupcakes for after and then nap time after all the fun of the day's activity.
We missed getting a picture with Bethany (sp?) Zimmerman at the baptism so we got this one the next day at church. Kaiya is wearing a dress provided to her from Gary and Janae Hudman, they are in our ward.  I hadn't gotten (FOUND) a dress Kaiya liked to have for after the baptism and during the confirmation so they gave her one they had purchased last year for their granddaughter that then didn't need it.
Things really do work out.  I was so stressed and worried about getting to all the places on time and then a rain storm came through and took away all other engagements so we could focus on JUST KAIYA and the big step she was taking in getting baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
