FREE play day... again :)

We started at the Boy Scout's ropes courses... I climbed 2 different obstacles and made it across both.  Jeremiah climbed one and walked across a log to the other end (I was so PROUD of him since he is scared of heights) Kaiya was too little to do any of the activities, but she wore her helmet and swung around on a rope that was used for climbing one of the obstacles (that they weren't using)

Kenai tried the rock wall a few times, but he only made it to getting placed on the wall by the workers and then staying right there haha...  Kotah climbed the wall 3 different times and in 2 different places.  HE is so much more like me in this area of adrenaline rushing... haha

 Jeremiah did try the rock wall (instead of the other high obstacle that I did)... this is as high as he could go.  Notice Kotah to the left of this picture??? What a little monkey.

After eating .89 cent hamburgers from McDonald's (which we never get and the kids loved) we headed on over to Union Station in Ogden at 25th street and walked around inside the museums as well as around the trains parked outside.

The kids were ready to run around and play rather than behaving by the time we left the train station and headed to our last stop of the day.... THE DINOSAUR PARK at the mouth of Ogden Canyon (12th street)

Jeremiah was pretty done by now too, there were so many "interesting" people attending the dinosaur park that he was getting annoyed by all their stupidity... as was I, but I was trying to just let it go and enjoy the time with our own kids.

We sat and ate sandwiches in the cool shade then left.  I was my grandma Johnston's birthday (that was July 20th) so we though we'd stop in to visit, but she was already gone for dinner with Elis; so we went on down to my parents'.

I didn't take any pictures, but Syrie, Bryce and Stryder had surprised us all by coming up from Vegas for the weekend so we played with the kids and visited.  Saturday night we stayed at my parents' place kinda late and lit off some fireworks with the kids.  They left Sunday and we don't plan on them coming back until Kotah's baptism the last weekend in September.  It was a nice day with the kids.  The best activity for me was DEFINITELY the ropes courses... we want to go back there again in August when they have another free day.
